Work Trucks

I am actively looking to invest in and support someone that wants to build a “full-stack” solution for poor and middle income manual labourers in America.

It begins with a marketplace approach to making work trucks (pickup trucks and cube vans) available to workers who need them but either cannot afford their own truck or where owning or leasing a truck is prohibitively expensive, relative to the income they are earning.

The work truck marketplace also offers on demand workers comp insurance and general liability insurance on a “per job” basis. And this is only the beginning. Eventually, we will be able to provide supplies and other equipment on demand as well.

Who are you ideally? Ideally, you are someone who grew up poor or in a poor community and through tremendous luck, grace and hard work, you managed to end up working for a highly successful on-demand marketplace where you learned marketplace operations at scale. You are a natural born hustler who graduated into management and actually enjoy managing people. Better than that, people enjoy being managed by you.

I will invest the initial startup capital (sufficient runway for at least 12 months) into this business and I will then help you raise every subsequent round of capital for this business. We will be registered as a B corp and we will focus on building the business in such a way that we are not reliant on outside capital to reach tremendous scale. Once profitable, we will allocate a percentage of our profits to investing in the poorest communities in each State that we operate in.

I will be on the board and I will hold you accountable but this is your company to run.
